Anyway I am disappointed to LOTRO. I got Closed Beta invitation into its free2play closed beta. After playing 10 mins it felt like the game had NOTHING new to offer and the controlling seemed abit clumsy. Maybe I am not used to WoW-like controls.
Main disappointment, concerning free2play accounts, is the Item Mall. Seriously.... what the hell did they think that u need to IM to get the lvl 51-60 content. Also its only 1 character per server. Extra inventory packs arent necessary though. You get 3 bags fro mthe starts and that was enough in levels 1-30 which I went through. Needed to get into city many times so same time i could sell the excess stuff away. There is also mounts, crafting things, stat boosters, costumes, equips etc. in the item mall. But couldnt test them out cause the cheap Turbine couldnt even give me more than 1000 Turbine points for Closed Beta -.-
Well this might sound like a rant though and maybe it is abit. Mostly this is a warning if you have ever thought about playing the game as free game. My advice is if u want equal chances between IM and free2play players then this game isnt for you.
Oh yea there i even skils in IM just like in GC didnt try those out but I quess they are really overpowered OMGWTFBBQSAUCEHAXONEHITGGDEAD -skills.
